Your Website Dashboard — Quick-Start Guide
Welcome to your website editor! This guide walks you through the five things you'll do most often: updating your pages, adding new content, swapping photos, changing your hours, and refreshing your logo. Everything here takes just a few clicks — and you can't break anything by exploring.
When you're ready to make a change, go to [YOUR DASHBOARD URL] and sign in with your email and password. (If you access the admin dashboard directly, use the sign-in link your account manager sent you — admin accounts use single sign-on rather than a password.)
1. Editing Pages
Your pages — the home page, about page, contact page, and others — can be updated any time without calling anyone.
Keeping your copy fresh shows customers they're looking at a live, active business. A seasonal promotion, a new tagline, updated contact info — all just a few clicks away.
How to edit a page
- In the left menu, click Pages.
- Find the page you want to change — for example, "Home" — and click on it to open it.
- Scroll to the section you want to update. Click directly on the text to edit it.
- Make your changes.
- Click Save in the top-right corner.
- Open your website in a new browser tab and refresh. Your change should appear within a few seconds.
Tip: If you don't see your change right away, wait 30 seconds and refresh again. Changes are usually instant but occasionally take a moment to appear.

2. Adding Content
You can add new blog posts, menu items, or products directly from your dashboard. Blog posts and products are available on the Growth plan and above.
Fresh content — like a post about your latest specials or an upcoming event — helps customers find you on Google and gives regulars a reason to keep coming back.
Note: Which content types you see in your menu depends on your plan. If you don't see Blog, Products, or Menu Items, reach out and we'll confirm what's available to you.
How to write a new blog post
- In the left menu, click Blog.
- Click the + New Post button in the top-right corner.
- Fill in the Title — make it specific (e.g., "5 Things to Do on Topsail Island This Summer").
- Write your post in the Body field. Short paragraphs work best.
- Add a short Summary — one or two sentences that appear in search results and on your blog listing page.
- Pick a Category if you have them set up (for example, "Tips" or "News").
- Add a Featured Image — see the Uploading Photos section below for help.
- You can click Preview first to see how the post looks before it goes live.
- When you're happy, click Publish.
- Go to your website's blog page to confirm the new post appears at the top.

3. Uploading Photos
All photos on your site live in one central place: your Media Library. Once an image is there, you can use it anywhere — on the home page, in a gallery, in a blog post, on a team bio.
Up-to-date photos build trust and show customers exactly what to expect when they visit.
How to upload a new photo
- In the left menu, click Media.
- Click Upload in the top-right corner.
- Choose a file from your computer. JPG and PNG files work best. A standard photo from your phone works great — no need to resize.
- Before saving, give the file a clear name — for example,
storefront-summer-2026instead ofIMG_4892. - Click Save.
How to swap an image on a page
- Go to Pages and open the page where you want to change the image.
- Find the image slot — for example, the hero background or a team photo.
- Click on the image. A Change Image button (or small pencil icon) will appear.
- Choose Select from Media Library and pick the new photo.
- Click Save on the page.
Tip: For your home page hero, use a wide horizontal photo. Portrait-oriented images often get cropped in unexpected ways on the home page.

4. Updating Hours
Your business hours appear in more than one place — usually on the contact page and in the footer at the bottom of every page. Update them once and they change everywhere.
Incorrect hours are one of the most common reasons customers leave a frustrated review. Keep them current, especially around holidays.
How to update your hours
- In the left menu, click Site Settings.
- Find the Hours section.
- Click on the day you need to update.
- Change the opening and closing times. If you're closed that day, check the Closed box.
- Repeat for any other days that changed.
- Click Save.
- Visit your contact page and footer on the live site to confirm the new hours appear.
Holiday tip: Before a holiday weekend, set your temporary hours — then put a reminder in your calendar the day after to reset them. It's easy to forget.

5. Changing Your Logo
Your logo appears at the top of every page (the header), at the bottom of every page (the footer), and as the small icon in the browser tab. Update it once and it changes everywhere.
How to update your logo
- In the left menu, click Site Settings.
- Find the Logo field.
- Click Change or click the current logo thumbnail.
- Select your new logo from your Media Library, or upload a new one (see the Uploading Photos section above).
- Click Save.
- Open your website in a new tab and refresh to see the updated logo in the header and footer.
File format tip: A PNG with a transparent background works best — it looks clean on any background without a white box around it. Your designer's exported logo file is usually the right size — no need to resize.
Which file to use? If your designer gave you multiple logo files, use the wide horizontal version for the header. A square or icon-only version works better for the browser tab icon.
